Description:
The 2006 Toronto Motorcycle Show is now over and what a show it was! Held in the expanded South Hall of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre December 8 - 10, 2006, this years show featured over 25 manufacturers displays and over 165 exhibits in total. These Manufacturers packed up their corporate displays and headed for Calgary where they continued the western leg of the tour at Stampede Park on January 5 - 7, 2007
Almost 36,000 enthusiasts flocked to the expanded South Hall of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to see the Largest New Model Manufacturers Showcase in the country. In addition to the glitz and glamour of the manufacturer's displays and new models, the show highlighted wide ranging exhibitor representation from the distributor, accessory and retail categories to round out the show experience for visitors.
New this year was the highly successful Yamaha Riding Academy. Over 400 kids were dressed, received instruction and experienced their first ride on a motorcycle. She Rides night was a great success with over 1800 women attending the show and the functions on the Friday evening of opening day.
We would like to thank all of the riders who took the time to visit this year's expanded show. We are busy planning for next year's Toronto Motorcycle Show that will take place December 7 - 9, 2007. The member companies of the MMIC (Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council) and the staff of the Toronto Motorcycle Show wish you a great 2007 riding season. Remember to Ride Safe and Ride Smart. We look forward to seeing you at next years show.
