SCOPE Productions and Hancher Auditorium proudly present John Oliver at the Iowa Memorial Union Main Lounge on Saturday, January 28th. Doors will open at 7:30 pm.
With the Iowa Caucuses and 2012 election just around the corner, Emmy-winning comedian John Oliver is at the ready to skewer, satirize, and slam in the name of sanity. Best known as the Senior British Correspondent in Jon Stewart's merry band of media pranksters on The Daily Show, Oliver has also found success in the States through his recurring role on NBC's Community and with his Comedy Central series John Oliver's New York Stand-up Show. Offering insight into American values and politics only an outsider can provide, Oliver's gratifyingly intelligent standup is a treat for the sardonic thinker in us all.
Tickets are available for purchase at the University Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. UI Students can UBILL tickets at the Box Office with a valid University ID.
