Jazz in the Vines

First held in 1992, Jazz in the Vines is a celebration of sight, sound and taste embodied in seven hours of top-notch entertainment. It takes place outdoors in the beautiful Tyrell's Paddock in Hunter Valley. Alongside live jazz from a line-up of international artists, visitors also have the chance to try some new releases from Australia's internationally-acclaimed winemakers.
Tyrrell's, Tamburlaine, Terrace Vale, Drayton's and the Hunter Valley Wine Society are on site with their best bottles. The region also boasts some of the best food in Australia and the finest menus can be sampled for only a few dollars, on offer from local award-winning restaurants.
The line-up for 2006 includes Glenn Shorrock, John Morrison's Swing City Big Band, Mark Sholtez,The Catholics, Bob Barnard, Psycho Zydeco, The Australian Army Big Band and many more, as well as roving bands.
